How to stay consistent with exercise

Are you struggling to stay consistent with your exercise routine? You’re not alone! It can be tough to stick to a workout plan, especially when life gets busy. But don’t give up yet! There are a few things you can do to make it easier to stay on track. Keep reading for some tips on how to stay consistent with exercise.

  1. Make a schedule and stick to it

  2. Find a partner. Having someone to exercise with can make it more enjoyable and help you stay accountable. This is a great benefit to group classes!

  3. Get creative with your workouts – Exercise doesn’t have to be boring! Find an activity that you actually enjoy and look forward to doing. This will make it much easier to stick with it in the long run. This is why we’ve created our Bootcamp to be fun and engaging for people of all fitness levels

  4. Set realistic goals.
    Don’t try to do too much too soon. If you set goals that are too ambitious, you’re more likely to get discouraged and give up. Start small and build up gradually.
    Let’s take weight loss for example;

    Achieving and maintaining a healthy weight is important for many reasons. Not only can it help improve your appearance and confidence, but it can also reduce your risk of developing obesity-related diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, and arthritis. However, weight loss can be difficult to achieve, and even more difficult to maintain over the long term. That’s why it’s important to set realistic fitness goals. If you’re hoping to lose 10kgs in one month, for example, you’re likely setting yourself up for disappointment. A more achievable goal might be to lose 1-2 kgs in one month. This all depends on your starting point though and we recommend you contact us for a personalised plan just for you. Similarly, if you’re hoping to run a marathon after only a few months of training, you may want to consider scaling back your expectations. Remember, slow and steady wins the race!

  5. Take care of your body by drinking plenty of water and eating healthy foods
    One of the best things you can do for your body is to drink plenty of water and eat healthy foods. Water helps to keep your cells hydrated and functioning properly, and it also flushes out toxins. Eating healthy foods provides your body with the nutrients it needs to function at its best. Make sure to include a variety of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains in your diet. These foods contain fiber, vitamins, and minerals that are essential for good health. By taking care of your body, you’ll feel better, look better, and be more likely to stay healthy in the long run.

  6. Don’t be too hard on yourself if you miss a day or two – Life happens! If you miss a workout or eat a bad meal, don’t beat yourself up about it. Just pick up where you left off and keep going.
